Lorem Ipsum has been the standard dummy text of the printing trade since the 1500s, when an anonymous printer pieced together bits of text to create a specimen book of typefaces. Not only has it survived for five centuries, but it has also adapted to computer-based office software, without any changes to its content. It was popularised in the 1960s through the sale of Letraset sheets containing passages of Lorem Ipsum, and, more recently, through its inclusion in text layout applications such as Aldus PageMaker.
